The Northernmost region of Hyrule consists of a mountainrange that branches off from both Death Mountain and the Gerudo Desert, a mountainrange so high into the sky that it is the only place in Hyrule where it is always snowing. Only Wolfos, Freezards and various ice monsters seem to inhabit this hostile environment, though there have been reports of a sentient group of Snow Beasts that live by the ruins.

Termina
[ ]Termina Fields (1 sub-board)
A bit more rugged than the grassy fields of Hyrule, with more trees spotted here and there, the Termina Fields actually have very few roads as Termina itself is not a true kingdom or nation, but a series of seperate citystates. Although Moblins and Bokoblins are less likely in these plains, there is a troublesome infestation of ChuChu and Kalgarocs.

The 'capital' city of Termina, Clock Town is a Bohemian paradise of technology and science. The city's great clock is the center of an annual celebration to progress and honoring the four Great Ones who guard over Termina.

These woods are more of a swampy jungle. Its highest point is an enormous stump from a fallen Great Deku Tree. Deku Baba are a serious problem in these woods.

A wide stretch of beach in Termina that leads into the Great Sea. A settlement of Terminans live by the beach in coexistance with saltwater Zoras. The famous Zora Hall is a popular attraction of the Great Bay, though the bay itself is also dangerous to tread through thanks to Gerudo pirates who make their home in a rocky cove right next to the bay.

The icey Snowhead mountain range is also home, strangely enough, to a series of hotsprings famous for their spiritual healing abilities. So revered are these hotsprings that the Gorons have built a shrine to guard over them.

A semi-harsh environment with little foilage, this series of canyons and plateaus is redeemable because of a river that passes through it, providing the necesities for life. This is the land of the Garo, an enigmatic ninja-like race of beings with no known origin, as well as the final resting place of the Ikana, an ancient tribe that destroyed itself from a long history of war, as well as a bloody feud with the Garo.

Tetra Isles
[ ]The Great Sea
far into the ocean from Hyrule and Termina lies the great sea, a haven for storms, cyclones, pirates and monsters. Ferry boats from the mainland to the Tetra Isles are usualy left alone, but solo adventurers be warned; The Great Sea is no place for the inexperienced.

The closest island to the mainland, usually the first stop for some ferry boats before Windfall Island. A simple fishing village lives here, and most of the rest of the island is unexplored, mostly due to disgruntled Bokoblins.

The island with the largest human population in the Tetra Isles. Like the other islands, it does not belong to any nation and is its own city-state. Their Mediterranean-style culture makes the island a great tourist location.

Location of the Great Deku Tree of the Tetra Isles. The Forest Haven is actually composed of two enormous islands with rock walls surrounding their entirety. Within the walls of the roofless isles lie both a spralling forest where the Great Deku Tree is located and a dangeous jungle filled with various dangerous plant and insect life. It is in the Great Deku Tree's island that the Korok make their home stop when not traveling the winds.

Home of the avian Rito race, and their god the red dragon Valoo, to whom they owe their existance and flight. Dragon Roost is a series of carved out caves and abodes in which the Rito make their living grounds, as well as an active volcano far on the other end of the island, where Valoo resides. The postal service of the Tetra Isles is centered here, as it is only the airborne Rito who can deliver mail without the risk of pirates and other hazards of the sea.

Home to the most ruthless pirates of the Great Sea, the Cutthroats. A band of Bokoblins, Moblins, Lizalfos and even Gerudo and other human races, this is the most dangerous island to attempt to enter. At the top of the fortress island's highest tower is the roost of the Helmaroc King, the Cutthroats' ultimate weapon, an enormous and powerful bird. More secluded sections of the island are riddled with swarms Miniblins.

[ ]The Twilight Lands
The mountains, plains, deserts and forests of the Twilight Realm. Like the rest of the dark world, it is bathed in eternal sunset from all sides. Dark, more powerful versions of monsters from the Light Realm can be found here, as well as unique, even more powerful Great Monsters. These are the most dangerous lands to tread across.

The sole civilization in the entire Twilight Realm, consisting of the ancient race of Twili. They are not unwelcome to outsiders but neither are they generous. Many of them hold a grudge against those of the Light Realm. Some of the most bizarre items and objects can be found in the markets of the Twilight Kingdom.
